Ambassadors Theatre

The Ambassadors Theatre opened on 5th June 1913. In 1921 the theatre presented the iconic Deburau, with Ivor Novello making his first ever stage appearance.

The first ever production show at The Ambassador's theatre was Panthea, written by Monckton Hoffe and which ran for a total of 15 nights. The theatre is now famous for their long-running production of The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie (Britain's longest running production), which opened in 1952 and played there for 21 years.
